Our Fees & How to Contact Your Independent Facilitator

Our program fee is $135 per 3-hour session. If your family participates in the Self-Determination Program (SDP), please contact your Independent Facilitator (IF) to discuss adding this program to your spending plan. Many participants also benefit from a dedicated 1:1 support staff member during group activities. If needed, funding for the support person should also be included in the spending plan. Why Naturopathy

Why Parent Coaching?

It can help with:

Building Family Relationships

Every family dynamic is different, and figuring out a way to create structure, harmony, and communication is incredibly important. Ensuring that parents, siblings, and family pets are all being respected.

Day-to-day Self-care

Creating structure and expectations of how to take care of oneself and their surroundings. Teaching responsibility when it comes to grooming, cleanliness, and daily household duties can be a great way to reward productive behaviors.

Positive Reinforcement

By assigning value to positive behaviors, we're able to encourage long-term change through repeat encouragement and rewards.

Developing Skills

We work together to develop skills wherever needed. A few of the areas we can focus on include:

  • Communication

  • Expressing emotions appropriately

  • Learning and academics

  • Play and leisure time

Community Outing

Applying skills learned and putting behaviors into practice in real world situations. It's important to introduce new experiences and encourage adaptability, focusing on how to communicate with others in social settings and what behavior is appropriate.

Testimonials

"During my 10+ years working with Abel as a parenting coach, he has consistently shown up as a calm and non-judgmental presence at my worst parenting moments. His vast knowledge of behaviors, its triggers, and potential solutions supports me in parenting my autistic son in a way that values him as a person. With his coaching, I am able to embody the change I want to see in the world, one that meets neurodivergence with understanding, curiosity, and compassion."
